The Frozen River Film Festival in partnership with the Minnesota Marine Art Museum is looking to feature designs from Winona area artists on the 2019 festival passes.
Create a design using the medium (i.e. painting, drawing, digital, etc.) of your choice. You may submit work that you create on your own (on canvas, panel, watercolor paper, photo paper, etc) or you may use the template found here.
We are looking for creative ideas that highlight different aspects of Winona that can be featured as wearable art. There are three different age categories; All Ages, High School, and Elementary-Middle School. Each are assigned to different passes used during the festival. Please refer to the chart to see which passes are included in each category.
Each winner will receive $100, two passes to the Minnesota Marine Art Museum, and two passes on which their artwork is featured. The honorable mentions will receive $25 and two passes of their featured artwork.
Designs are due July 16 at 5pm, and winners will be announced mid August. Please direct all designs and questions to email@example.com.
Works can be submitted in person at 160 Johnson Street; mailed to FRFF, 160 Johnson Street, Winona, MN 55987; or, if digital, emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org

A hole will be punched in the pass to allow for the badge to be worn on a lanyard and the punch may affect the visual design (see template for position of hole punch).
All submitted artwork may be displayed in a show at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum and/or on-line with Frozen River Film Festival’s social media.
